The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import linebacker Joe Henderson and import defensive lineman Dominie Pittman have signed with the team and will attend 2010 Training Camp slated to begin June 2nd for rookies in Kamloops, BC.
Henderson wrapped up an outstanding career at Alabama-Birmingham in 2008 with a First Team All-Conference USA selection after pacing his team with 87 tackles and 12 tackles for a loss. He finished up his playing days with 294 stops and another 31 for a loss to go with seven career sacks.
Pittman departed North Alabama in 2009 after leading his team in sacks the past two seasons and propelling the school to four-straight Division II playoff appearances. The Florida native appeared in 51 games over a four-year stay at UNA.
