The BC Lions (1-3) pay another July visit to division rival Edmonton Eskimos (0-4) in an early must-win for both clubs. The Lions and Esks faced off in Week 1 with the Black and Orange coming out on top by a 25-10 margin.
The Lions come into Friday’s game having dropped three-straight including a disappointing 24-20 defeat at the hands of the Toronto Argonauts last Friday, a game they led 17-3 at one point. The Eskimos have started the 2010 campaign with four losses, a feat not seen since 1965 likely making Friday’s tilt a testy affair. In the past 11 games versus the Green and Gold dating back to 2007, the Leos hold an 8-3 advantage and they have also won their last three at Commonwealth Stadium… (cont’d)
