In this morning’s CFL Supplemental Draft, the Lions picked up 6’1, 300 lb defensive tackle Alex Ellis. In doing so, the club surrenders its sixth round selection in the 2012 Canadian Draft.

In keeping with the organization’s commitment to developing football stars of tomorrow, the Lions have invited junior standouts Jordan Linnen (Langley Rams), Danney Turek (Okanagan Sun) and Aaron Smit (Kamloops Broncos) to take part in rookie camp. Past invitees include current Leos running back Andrew Harris as well as former Lions kicker Sean Whyte.
