Lions to unleash pair of Huskies at training camp

The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import offensive tackles Ben Ossai and Cody Habben have been signed by the club.

Ossai joins the Lions from the ranks of the Spokane Shock of the AFL where he has spent parts of two seasons in addition to a stint with the UFL’s Las Vegas Locomotives. The former University of Washington Husky had originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the St. Louis Rams in 2010.

Habben will join Ossai at Lions training camp after following a similar path as his former college teammate. The Washington native was with the Huskies from 2006 to 2010 before being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Oakland Raiders as well as spending time with the St. Louis Rams.
