Lions add Rudy Carpenter to pivot mix

The BC Lions Football Club announced today that quarterback Rudy Carpenter has signed with the team.

Carpenter comes to the Lions after spending the last four years in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys.

The former Arizona State Sun Devil enjoyed a standout college career with an all-time FBS record of 43 consecutive starts and more than 10,000 passing yards with 81 TD’s. Carpenter won 26 games over four seasons at ASU tying him for second in school history including a PAC 10 championship in 2007. He wrapped his days in the desert with top-ten all-time conference marks in career passing yards, touchdowns and total offence.
