BC Lions add international free agent OL Levy Adcock

BC Lions Football Club GM and head coach Wally Buono announced today that international offensive lineman Levy Adcock has agreed to terms on a contract for the 2016 season.

“Levy is a talented offensive lineman who brings size, experience and physicality to the line,” said Buono. “He’s played at a high level both in college and in the pros and he comes highly recommended by offensive line coach Dan Dorazio.”Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Darian Durant (4) throws a pass while Saskatchewan Roughriders offensive lineman Levy Adcock (64) fights off Calgary Stampeders defensive lineman Freddie Bishop III (95) during pre-season CFL action in Regina on Friday June 19, 2015. Adcock spent the past two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders appearing in 15 regular season games and making 13 starts during that time.

The Oklahoma native stayed close to home for his college career, appearing in 29 career games at Oklahoma State. He was an All-Big 12 selection in both 2010 and Levy+Adcock+St+Louis+Rams+v+Dallas+Cowboys+BG29bOxnZ5Vl2011 as well as a consensus All-American in 2011. Levy was an undrafted free agent signing of the Dallas Cowboys in 2012 before moving onto the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the now-defunct UFL. Levy had another brief NFL stop with the New York Giants in 2012 before signing with the ‘Riders in 2014.

The Lions free agent signings now total four players after inking defensive backs Mike Edem and Brandon Stewart on Tuesday and officially adding Nick Moore on Wednesday morning.
