Lions re-sign Harris and McNeil, Release Paul

The BC Lions Football Club today announced that international running back Josh Harris and wide receiver Douglas McNeil have re-signed with the team for the 2017 season. Both players were signed by the Lions in 2016 during the CFL’s annual practice roster expansion period.McNeil-Bowie-State

Harris (5’10”, 210) spent a pair of seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2014 and 2015 and appeared in five games with the team before joining the Leos last October. The Wake Forest grad enjoyed a productive four-year college career rolling up 2,195 yards on 482 carries with 19 touchdowns in 42 games.

McNeill (6’3”, 195) was also an undrafted free agent NFL signing who spent time with the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks over a two-year period before signing with the Lions last year. The rangy receiver spent three years at Bowie State where he hauled in 84 passes for 1,407 yards and 11 majors.
