Lions Ink David Foucault Through 2019

The BC Lions Football Club today announced that recently acquired national offensive lineman David Foucault (pronounced foo-Koh) has signed a contract with the team through the 2019 season.

Playing rights for Foucault, the fifth-overall selection in the 2014 CFL Draft and former Carolina Panther, were obtained by the Lions from the Montreal Alouettes last month along with international offensive lineman Vincent Brown in exchange for o-lineman Jovan Olafioye.

“Getting David under contract is both a positive and vital first step in having him compete for a spot on our roster this season,” said GM and head coach Wally Buono.

“A longer term deal, as this one represents, is also a very encouraging sign that David is committed to our organization and we look forward to seeing him later this month at our mini-camp.”

BC Lions 2017 season memberships start at just $25 per month all-in and are available now.
