The BC Lions Football Club is pleased to announce that it has extended its radio broadcast agreement with Vancouver’s TEAM Radio for another four years. The announcement was made this morning by club president and CEO Dennis Skulsky at a Waterboys breakfast – the monthly gathering of business ambassadors who support the club. CHUM Radio has been the official broadcaster of BC Lions Football Club for the past seven years.
“TEAM 1410 and TEAM 1040 continue to be important building blocks in the overall success of the BC Lions as an organization,” said Skulsky. “The folks at TEAM Radio have been key in connecting the BC Lions to their fans in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland and the knowledge and expertise in their coverage is second to none.”
As the home of the BC Lions, TEAM 1410 will continue with its expert pre and post-game coverage, audio archives of the Lions games along with insightful interviews with player and coaches, expert guest analysis and much more.
“The BC Lions represent the foundation of our local programming commitment on TEAM 1410, and we are thrilled to continue this successful relationship for four more years,” said James Stuart, vice-president and GM, CHUM Radio Vancouver. “The next few years promise to be exciting ones with the move back into a new BC Place and the 99th Grey Cup in Vancouver in 2011.”
CHUM Radio is a division of CTVglobemedia, Canada's premier multimedia company with ownership of CTV, Canada’s #1 television network, and The Globe and Mail, Canada’s #1 national newspaper.
