The Province's Kent Gilchrist says Geroy Simon has demonstrated his value to the Lions organization since his first day in Black and Orange.
That Simon has been the team's go-to guy on offence since Wally Buono arrived in 2003 is obvious. But the best numbers to illustrate the mutual admiration society that has developed between coach and player just might be that Simon went from 50 catches and 754 yards in '02 to 94 and 1,687 in '03. Few appreciate the way Simon goes about his business more than Buono, who has a knack of seeing the big picture.
