PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND YOUTH
Remember how much fun it used to be to run around with your friends at the park, swim at the beach or the pool, race your best friend on your bikes, or have build a snow fort on a winter afternoon? You didn’t know it, but you were getting exercise – exercise your body needed then, and needs now, to stay healthy and strong for life. You don’t have to be (or even like) a jock to get all the benefits of physical activity, you just have to start moving.
Walking around shopping counts! So do walking, throwing a frisbee – even standing up and stretching for 10 minutes when you’re studying or chatting online. Every little bit adds up for a stronger, healthier, more self-confident you. Click the links below to find out more.
