2005: A season to remember for the six-year Lion as he rolled through opposition defenses on his way to a league-leading 16 sacks over 18 regular season games. The CFL’s selection as the Outstanding Defensive Player and Outstanding Canadian led a dominant defensive unit and added a West Division and CFL All-Star selection to his list of accomplishments. Johnson also tallied 22 defensive tackles, three TFL, two interceptions, three fumble recoveries and two touchdown receptions.
2005: Started all 18 regular season games for the Lions at defensive end recording a CFL-leading 17 sacks while ranking second in the CFL with 5 fumble recoveries. Named to the CFL All-Star team and received the Most Outstanding Canadian Player Award (only the fourth Lion to receive the award in team history).
2004: Named to the West Division All-Star Team after a year in which he set a then career-high with 10 sacks and knocked down 5 passes. Named CFL Lineman of the Month for September 2004 and Lineman of the Week for Week #11.
