Over the course of more than five decades spent as a member club of the Canadian Football League, the BC Lions Football Club has built a rich history and tradition that continues to grow.

From the club’s early beginnings in 1953 until the present day, Lions fans have been treated to the club’s first touchdown, first win, and the evolution of outstanding football talent that has led the club to capture five Grey Cup Championships.

The BC Lions Football Club strives for excellence on and off the field and we are proud of our prominent place as part of the fabric of British Columbia.

The BC Lions are forging the way in the CFL, delivering an exciting, affordable and engaging sports entertainment experience second to none.

In 2011, the club will add the latest chapter to our rich history and tradition when we return to the newly renovated BC Place. Simply put, BC Place will be the most spectacular venue in Canada and one of the most impressive in North America. Together, the Lions and BC Place will provide a sports entertainment experience that is unmatched in British Columbia.
