One of the BC Lions' most popular and recognizable community programs, Play with the Pros is an annual initiative that involves Lions players teaching boys and girls the basics of football by having them participate in a non-contact skills clinic.

With the support of Football BC, the governing body for amateur football in British Columbia, the Play with the Pros program involved more than 1,500 youth between the ages of 6 and 12 during the 2011 season.  This past fall, many of the Lions' most prominent players participated in community football practices throughout the lower mainland including Vancouver, North Vancouver, Surrey, Coquitlam, Richmond, Delta, Langley (city and township), Maple Ridge and White Rock.
