Douglas was signed as a free agent by the Lions during the CFL’s annual practice roster expansion period in September 2016.

 

Highlights:
2016: Douglas joined the club in September and spent the remainder of the season on the practice roster. He re-signed with the club in February 2017.

(AP Photo/Elaine Thompson)2014-2016: Douglas was an undrafted free agent signing of the Denver Broncos in October 2014. After spending a number of weeks on the club’s practice roster, he was waived by Denver. In February 2015, Douglas signed with the Seattle Seahawks and attended training camp later that year. While he was part of Seattle’s final roster cut-down, he spent time on and off their practice roster through December. He attended Seahawks’ training camp again in 2016 and was released as was once again part of the club’s final roster cut-down.

 

Prior to his time in the NFL, Douglas spent a season in the Arena Football League with the Portland Thunder. The talented receiver hauled in 66 receptions for 858 yards and 18 touchdowns.

 

McNeil Bowie StateCollege:
2010-2012: During a three-year stay at Bowie State, Douglas notched a total of 84 receptions for 1,407 yards and 11 majors.

 

As a senior, he earned a Second-Team All-Central Intercollegiate Athletics Association selection after  tallying 34 catches for 667 yards and five touchdowns.
