Three More Receivers Added To Lions Roster

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import receivers Robert Long, Emmanuel Arceneaux and Terence Scott have signed with the team.

Long was discovered at the club’s free agent workout in Portland, Oregon earlier in the month and most recently played at Northern Colorado in 2007 where he registered 15 receptions for 274 yards and two touchdowns.

Arceneaux appeared in 32 games over four seasons (’05-’08) at Alcorn State and recorded 99 receptions for 1,618 yards and 12 TD’s. He was the team’s third-leading receiver in three of his four seasons and the school’s second-leading receiver in 2007. The speedy native of Louisiana was also a member of the Alcorn State track team.

Scott was also in attendance at the Portland free agent camp and appeared in 18 games over two years at Oregon (’07-’08) after transferring from College of the Canyons. Last season, he was an honourable mention All-Pac-10 as Oregon’s leading receiver with 50 receptions for 755 yards and five touchdowns. He had a career-high of eight catches and 125 yards in the Holiday Bowl win vs. Oklahoma State and had the Pac-10’s season-high for the longest reception with a 76-yard TD against rival Oregon State.
