The BC Lions Football Club announced today that quarterback Corey Leonard has signed a contract with the team and will attend rookie camp slated for June 2nd to 4th in Kamloops, BC.

The Lions also announced that import receivers Carl Sims and Dobson Collins have inked contracts as has defensive back Marquez Hall.

Sims spent four seasons at Western Illinois in 2008 after appearing in 36 games as both a receiver and return specialist. He wrapped up his career with 136 receptions for 1,724 career receiving yards and 11 TD’s.

Collins appeared in 42 games with 22 starts at Gardner-Webb. The speedy wideout caught 143 passes for 1,754 yards and 14 touchdowns and was also a two-time All-Big South selection as a punt returner and wide receiver. He also brings some NFL experience to the Leos after stops with Philadelphia and San Francisco in 2009 and 2010.

Hall comes to the Lions following a four-year, 43-game career at Tennessee State which ended in 2010 when as a senior, he recorded a career-high 37 tackles, two sacks, 19 knockdowns and an interception.
