Bryan Burnham hauls in CFL Top Performer Nod

Pulling down one circus catch after another, BC Lions receiver Bryan Burnham has quickly become one of the CFL’s most dangerous weapons. His five catches for 131 yards and a major in the Lions’ 30-15 win over Saskatchewan Saturday evening has also earned the human highlight reel a Top Performer nod for Week 7.

Among his more dazzling thefts on the weekend was a 36-yard catch in the first quarter which later set up his 13-yard TD strike from Travis Lulay and an amazing 50-yard snag in triple coverage with the Lions hemmed-up inside their own five yard-line.

Burnham currently sits third among all CFL receivers with 546 yards and two touchdowns on 50 catches. The Lions (5-2) will look to make it back-to-back wins as they travel to Regina this Sunday to take on the Roughriders (2-4). The next BC Lions home game is Friday, August 18 versus the Calgary Stampeders presented by Purolator.

Single game tickets for all Lions home games are on sale now. Kids 12 and under can get tickets for all summer games for just $5.
