Jennings and the offence got off to a quick start, marching nine plays and 80 yards to the house, with Emmanuel Arceneaux finding the end zone.
Ty Long rounded out the home team scoring with a 50-yard field goal in the second quarter. Brett Maher‘s two field goals accounted for the only Ottawa points.
The Lions must win to keep pace with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Earlier today, Brandon Bridge and company (8-6-0) knocked off the Toronto Argonauts 27-24 at BMO Field.
