Lions Add Defensive Line Trio

The BC Lions Football Club today announced that international defensive linemen Tyriq McCord, Terence Waugh and Cedric Reed have signed with the team.

McCord (6’3”, 240) spent 2017 training camp with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats after signing with them at the tail end of the 2016 season. The Florida native enjoyed four productive seasons at the University of Miami before stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2016.

Waugh (6’1”, 260) attended training camp with the Arizona Cardinals in 2017 and notched a defensive tackle in preseason action. Prior to signing with the ‘Cards, he was two-time All Mac selection as a junior and senior at Kent State and tallied 17 career sacks along with 90 individual tackles.

Reed (6’5”, 270) is a former All-Big 12 selection out of the University of Texas where he piled-up 16 career sacks and 93 solo stops. He spent the 2015 season on the practice roster of the Buffalo Bills and also attended training camp with the Miami Dolphins in 2016.
