Lions Add Three To Line Of Scrimmage

The BC Lions Football Club today announced that international offensive linemen David Patterson and Phillip Norman along with international defensive lineman Breion Creer have been signed by the team.

Patterson (6’5”, 295) joins the Lions after recently wrapping up a four-year, 39-game career at Fresno State. The North Carolina native was an All-Mountain West honorable-mention at tackle as a senior in 2017.

Norman (6’4”, 320) appeared in 40 games over a four-year stay at Bethune-Bookman. He started all 11 games at tackle as senior in 2017 and earned a third-team All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference selection.

Creer (6’3”, 270) split his collegiate days between Northern Iowa and Iowa State. During his senior season with the Cyclones in 2016, he tallied a pair of defensive stops over eight games.

All three will hit the field for BC Lions Training Camp presented by Sun Peaks Resort on Sunday, May 20 in Kamloops, BC.
