BC Lions Acquire DL Davon Coleman in Trade with Hamilton

(Kamloops) The BC Lions Football Club today announced that it has acquired international defensive lineman Davon Coleman and a sixth-round pick in the 2019 CFL Draft from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in exchange for the Lions’ fourth-round pick in the 2019 CFL Draft.

Coleman (6’2”, 295) spent the 2017 season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, registering 41 defensive tackles and five sacks through 17 games.

Prior to joining the Ti-Cats, Coleman appeared in four games with the Dallas Cowboys through the 2014 and 2015 seasons. The Arizona State alum also spent time with the Chicago Bears, New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before signing with Hamilton as a free agent prior to the 2017 season.

Davon will be joining his new teammates in Kamloops, BC for training camp presented by Sun Peaks Resort.
