BC Lions fans enjoy free PNE admission with August 25 ticket purchase

(Vancouver) While the BC Lions hit the practice field today in preparation for their Saturday afternoon tilt in Toronto, fans have another reason to scoop-up tickets to the club’s next home game versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday, August 25 presented by Budweiser.

In partnership with the PNE, the Lions are pleased to announce that ticket holders for the ‘Riders tilt can access the fairgrounds free of charge on the 25th before 1:00 pm.

“We’re very grateful for the support of our friends at the PNE for making this offer to Lions fans,” said team president Rick LeLacheur. “When you combine the value of free gate admission to the PNE on a Saturday with our $10 game tickets for kids, it’s a great opportunity for the entire family to spend the day together enjoying two of Vancouver’s most celebrated summer traditions.”

As part of game festivities later that night, the Lions are proud to celebrate the CFL’s Diversity Is Strength program which highlights the

important role diversity and inclusion have played in our league and our country. Teams will honour those who have played a significant role in the growth and evolution of the CFL through their hard work and contributions, including the Lions head coach Wally Buono.

Fans are encouraged to wear their colours on August 25th in a show of inclusivity and pride that best represents their own respective culture and values and to take selfies during the game using #RepYourRoots and #DIS hashtags to share this positive message through social media.
