Lions Add Three, Including former Redblacks Lineman

The BC Lions Football Club today announced that internationals Eric Lofton (OL), Levern Jacobs (WR) and Carson Ketter (DB) have signed with the team.

Lofton (6’4”, 300) appeared in four games over the past two years with the Ottawa RedBlacks including three games this past season. The Temple University grad was an All-American Athletic Conference first-team selection as a senior in 2015 and appeared in 37 games for the Owls over a four-year span.

Jacobs (5’11”, 185) wrapped up a four-year, 47-game run at the University of Maryland in 2016 tallying 130 receptions for 1,554 yards and eight touchdowns for the Terps. He was an undrafted free agent signing of the Washington Redskins and attended training camp with the club in 2017.

Ketter (6’3”, 215) attended Pacific Lutheran where he appeared in 26 games over the past four years for the Lutes recording 94 individual tackles and four interceptions. The Washington native also returned a pair of picks for touchdowns during his collegiate career including a 92-yard romp in 2017.
