Lions Aquire OL Justin Renfrow From Stampeders

The BC Lions Football Club announced on Sunday it has acquired American offensive lineman Justin Renfrow plus a fifth-round pick in the 2020 CFL Draft from the Calgary Stampeders.

In exchange, Calgary receives a conditional fourth-round pick in 2020 plus a player from the Lions’ negotiation list.

Renfrow, 6’4, 315 lbs, has appeared in seven games over the past three seasons with Calgary.

He joined the Arizona Cardinals as a non-drafted free agent in 2014 before being released at the end of training camp.

Renfrow also had brief NFL stints with Green Bay, Seattle, San Francisco and Buffalo before making his CFL debut with the Stampeders on July 4th, 2017 in Montreal.

A defensive lineman in college, Renfrow transferred from Virginia to Miami for his senior season of 2013.
