The 70s saw the groundwork laid for a very successful period in Lions history. Al Wilson and Lui Passaglia were among the key Canadians who joined our squad. In 1983 we moved indoors and saw the arrival of Don Matthews as head coach. After a close call in the Grey Cup that season, we would sip from the trophy in 1985 with quarterback Roy Dewalt leading the charge.
