Join us on Saturday, August 8 as the BC Lions return to Save-On-Foods Field at BC Place for FamFest, a game day packed with football, entertainment, and fun for fans of all ages. Whether you’re bringing the family, coming with friends, or cheering on the Lions solo, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Remember that every game ticket includes FREE weekday admission to the PNE Fair later in August (excluding Labour Day Monday).
NOTE: Codes for your free admission to the PNE Fair will be delivered via email within 72 hours of the end of the game. The PNE Fair opens on Saturday, August 22nd.
Starting at 1:00 PM, the plaza comes alive with family-friendly entertainment, including world-famous balloon artist Twistin’ Sam, magical appearances from Anna and Elsa, interactive activities, great food and drink specials, and plenty of surprises before kickoff.
Then, head inside for a 4:00 PM showdown as the Lions take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Stick around after the final whistle for the fan-favourite Kids Run on the Field, and help celebrate Leo’s Birthday.

Purchase your tickets before the end of the third quarter for your chance to win. The winning ticket will be announced during the fourth quarter.

NEW SECURITY & TURNSTILE ENTRY PROCESS
BC Place features new security screening and electronic turnstiles at entry points as part of recent venue upgrades. Please ensure your electronic tickets have been downloaded to your mobile device before approaching the gates.
AT SECURITY SCREENING
At the gates, guests are asked to keep their personal items, including stadium-permitted bags, on their person as they walk through the security detection system and proceed to the electronic turnstiles.
AT THE TURNSTILES
Mobile Wallet: If your electronic tickets are saved in your Mobile Wallet, tap your phone near the contactless reader at the top of the turnstile screen. When ticket is in mobile wallet, no barcode will be displayed.
Ticketmaster App or Physical Tickets: Scan your ticket using the barcode reader at the bottom of the turnstile screen.
Entering with Multiple Tickets: If tapping or scanning multiple tickets from one phone, wait for the green light and allow one guest in your group through the turnstile before moving to the next ticket.
There are no in-and-out privileges once a ticket has been scanned.
BC PLACE NO BAG POLICY
- Guests are encouraged NOT to bring bags to the stadium.
- Guests may enter with one CLEAR plastic bag that is no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”
- Guests may also carry one small CLUTCH PURSE no larger than 8.5” x 6.5”, with a handle or strap which will be searched.
- Exceptions may be provided for diaper bags, and for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag.
- All bags are subject to search, including enhanced screening, if required.
- Any bags exceeding the allowed dimensions above will be checked-in to the BC Place Bag Check at Gates A or C for a $10 fee
CASHLESS PAYMENTS ONLY
All purchases at BC Place are now cashless. All major credit and debit cards, and digital forms of payment are accepted.
If you don’t have a card for payment, cash-to-card conversions are available. Please visit the Cash to Card kiosk on the concourse at Section 235.
