Your $100 admission fee includes a seat at this fun evening, plus a ticket to our Famfest Game on SUN.AUG.18 against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers where you can test your new knowledge of all things football.

What will I learn in the session?
Football 101 is a program designed specially for people new to the game of football. Taught by BC Lions Players & Coaches, people are given the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of the game over the course of a two hour session at the BC Lions Surrey Training Facility. Attendees are taught the basic fundamentals of the game of football, covering areas such as the equipment used during the game, scoring, rules, positions, penalties, and frequently used football terminology. In addition, attendees are provided a quick rundown on the history of the BC Lions Football Club.
What does my program fee include?
Participants will receive a Football 101 Manual, snacks and beverages at the session. You will also get a ticket to the August 18th BC Lions Home game vs Winnipeg, where you will get to take part in viewing the pre-game warm-ups from the sideline and a “Chalk Talk” with Lions legend Jamie Taras. With this lesson, new fans of the sport will gain a better understanding of the game of football.
