Adonis was signed as a free agent by the Lions in November 2025.

Highlights:

2022-24: Adonis was selected in round eight by the New Orleans Breakers in the 2022 USFL Draft. He re-signed with the team in October 2023 before the merger with the XFL. Adonis then spent 2024 with the Michigan Panthers.

2018-21: Adonis was selected by Washington in round six of the 2018 Supplemental Draft and suited up in nine games as a rookie, recording eight combined tackles. After being waived by the team at the conclusion of 2019 training camp, he was re-signed to the practice squad and remained there until October 1. He signed with the Los Angeles Rams practice squad the following month before being cut at the end of 2020 training camp. Adonis landed with the San Francisco 49ers on a futures deal in January 2021 before a training camp stint with the New Orleans Saints later that year.

College:

2015-17: Suited up at Virginia Tech, appearing in 34 games with 126 total tackles (91 solo, 35 assisted), seven interceptions, four pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
