Bruce was signed by the Lions in February 2022.

Highlights:

2021: Bruce signed with the Edmonton Elks on September 21, 2021. He appeared in three regular season games for the Elks primarily as a punt returner, where he finished the 2021 campaign with seven punt returns for 170 yards.

2019-2020: Bruce signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2019. He later joined the Indianapolis Colts practice squad for the remainder of the 2019 season. Bruce was later waived from the Colts injury reserve list on September 30, 2020.

College:

2015-2018: The North Dakota State standout played in 52 games and started 16 games for the Bison. Bruce was the leading kickoff returner during his two seasons with the team and grew into the primary back for the Bison, where he registered a total of 486 carries for 2,896 yards and 24 touchdowns.  Bruce also tallied 32 receptions for 448 yards and seven scores. The two-time FCS All-American was named one of the captains in his senior year and has captured three NCAA Division I FCS national titles in 2015, 2017 and 2018.
