Bryant was signed as a free agent by the Lions on April 5, 2016. He re-signed with the club in February 2017.
2016: Along with providing some veteran experience and leadership to the squad, Turner also brought some valuable depth to the defensive line. In 10 games, the UAB product recorded 15 tackles along with three sacks. In the later stages of the regular season and into the postseason, the interior duo of Turner and Mic’heal Brooks developed into a formidable defensive force for the club.
2011-2015 (WPG): Bryant signed with the Bombers in May 2011 and appeared in 13 games for the eventual East Division champs recording 15 defensive stops and three sacks on the season. He also made his lone career playoff and Grey Cup appearance that year.
In 2012, Bryant enjoyed the first of two East Division All-Star campaigns tallying 20 defensive tackles and six sacks over 14 games which also earned him his first CFL All-Star honour as well.
The 2013 season saw him dress for 16 games and pick up his second-consecutive divisional nod with 14 tackles and a career-high seven sacks. In 2014, Bryant again made 16 starts from his defensive tackle position, making a career-high 23 stops along with six sacks. In his final season as a Bomber in 2015, he appeared in 13 games notching 17 tackles and four sacks on the year.

2007-2010: Bryant enjoyed a productive four-year, 48-game career at the University of Alabama-Birmingham recording 65 solo tackles 34 of which were for a loss along with three forced fumbles and 17 sacks. Following a standout senior season in 2011 in which he tallied seven sacks and eight tackles for a loss, Bryant was selected as an All-Conference USA Honourable Mention.
