Acquired:

Connor was selected in round four (37th overall) by the Lions in the 2025 CFL Draft. After playing out his final season of eligibility with the Regina Rams, he re-signed with the Lions in November of 2025.

College:

2025: After attending training camp with the Lions in Kamloops, Connor returned to the Rams for his final year of U Sports eligibility.

2023-24: Klassen stepped right in as a starting offensive lineman in his first season at the University of Regina. He started all eight Canada West games at right tackle. In 2024, he served as the team’s starting right tackle for the second consecutive season. Klassen started all eight Canada West games and all three postseason games for the Rams.

Personal:

Klassen played junior football with the Regina Thunder during the 2019, 2021, and 2022 seasons. He helped the Thunder win a Prairie Football Conference championship in his final season with the program. Klassen was named the PFC’s Outstanding Lineman and a first-team All-Canadian with the Thunder in 2022 and earned PFC all-star recognition in both 2021 and 2022.
