Craig was signed by the Lions as a free agent in April 2015.
2016: Following a productive second training camp with the Lions, Craig proved to be a mainstay on the defensive line. Appearing in 16 games, the University of Michigan product recorded 22 defensive tackles, seven sacks and a forced fumble. He had at least one defensive stop in all but one of his appearances in 2016.
2015: Craig enjoyed a productive first year with the Lions appearing in 13 games and recording 24 defensive tackles along with six sacks and a pass knockdown.
2013-2014: Craig was an undrafted free agent signing of the Carolina Panthers in 2013. He was released by the Panthers in training camp and most recently spent the 2014 season with Omaha of the short-lived FXFL.
2009-2012: Craig enjoyed a standout career at Michigan where he appeared in 50 games over four years for the Wolverines. The highly-recruited Arizona native piled-up 80 solo tackles, 21 for a loss and seven sack during his time in Ann Arbor. As a senior in 2012, Craig was a Second-Team All-Big 10 selection and also received All-Academic recognition.
Craig attended the University of Michigan where he studied Psychology. When he isn’t playing football, he enjoys reading, philosophy and hanging out with friends. His favourite author is C.S. Lewis. His favourite football memory was playing in front of hundreds of thousands of people at his school’s home stadium, “The Big House”, in Ann Arbour, Michigan. After his playing days come to an end, Craig would like to do several things such as own his own business and produce music.
