DaQuaylyn signed with the Lions as a free agent in April 2023

Highlights:

2022: DaQuaylyn attended training camp with the Edmonton Elks and saw action in a pre-season contest against Winnipeg, registering a pair of defensive tackles. He was released by Edmonton on June 11.

College:

2018-19: moved to Southern Mississippi for his final two years of eligibility. With the Golden Eagles, DQ registered 92 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, three interceptions, one defensive touchdown, six pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 24 games. As a senior, he was named first-team All-Conference USA while ranking second on the team in tackles and recording a team-high three interceptions.

2016-17: DaQuaylyn attended Tyler Community College and recorded 138 tackles (101 solo, 37 assists), two sacks and one touchdown across 18 games.
