Dionte was signed as a free agent by the Lions on February 13, 2026.

Highlights:

2023-25: Dionte joined the Montreal Alouettes as a free agent and was part of the squad’s Grey Cup championship in 2023, making one tackle in the victory over Winnipeg. The 2024 campaign was his best as a pro, as he made 56 defensive tackles, five interceptions and scored a defensive touchdown. He then recorded 11 tackles across eight appearances in the 2025 campaign.

2022: Moved north to the Calgary Stampeders and appeared in nine games with 39 tackles and one interception.

2021: Signed with the Chicago Bears as a non-drafted free agent and was released at the end of training camp.

College:   

2017-20: Dionte suited up at Western Kentucky for four seasons and recorded 78 total tackles (62 solo, 16 assisted), 25 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, one interception and a fumble recovery. He earned All-Conference USA second team honours in his senior season.
