Acquired:
Ebenezer signed as a free agent with the Lions in July of 2018.

 

Highlights:
2018: Ebenezer appeared in one game for the Lions as a rookie. He made his CFL debut on September 7 against the Ottawa RedBlacks, recovering a blocked punt and returning it five yards.

 

College:
2013-2014: Ebenezer began his collegiate career at Clemson University. After being redshirted as a freshman, he registered three tackles through seven games with the Tigers in 2014.

2015-2017: The Brooklyn, NY product transferred to Tennessee prior to the start of the 2015 season and appeared in 26 games across three seasons with the Tigers. Ebenezer recorded 148 total tackles, 28 tackles for a loss and 14.5 sacks during his time with Tennessee State. He was named First Team All-OVC and was an Honourable Mention BOXTOROW All-American as a senior in 2017.

 

Personal:
Ebenezer began playing football at the age of nine and exited Tennessee State University with a degree in Communications. He credits beating Georgia State in the 2017 season opener as his most memorable moment on the football field. He styles his game after Von Miller and Khalil Mack. When Ebenezer isn’t sacking quarterbacks you’ll find him working out, watching television or playing Call of Duty.
