Frank was signed as a free agent by the Lions in March 2017.
2012-2015: Frank was a fourth-round NFL Draft selection by the Carolina Panthers in 2012. Over three years with Carolina he appeared in 29 games recording 20 defensive stops, three sacks and five pass knockdowns.
2008-2011: A remarkably productive college star, Frank played 48 games at Oklahoma notching 84 tackles, 44 of which were for a loss along with 20 sacks, six forced fumbles and 14 pass knockdowns. His senior season in 2011 included starts in all 13 games resulting in career-highs in tackles (35) and sacks (8). The lofty totals earned him Co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year honours as well as a selection as Defensive Lineman of the Year and a First-Team All-Big 12 nod. In his rookie season with the Sooners in 2008, he collected six tackles in the Big 12 Championship game and added five more versus Florida in the BCS National Championship.
Frank resides in Louisiana during the off-season where he likes to spend time with family when not working out. He’s been playing football since the age of five and notes Oklahoma’s appearance in the 2009 National Championship along with being drafted by the Carolina Panthers and his first sack as a pro (Eli Manning) as his most memorable football moments. Known by no fewer than three different nicknames: Big Man, Squirt and Oak Tree, you’ll find either Frank sitting down to catch an episode of his favourite TV show, The Walking Dead or listening to Future.
