College:
2019: transferred to Washington State for his senior year and appeared in two games. Completed 10 passes for 83 yards and two touchdowns.
2015-2018: Appeared in 32 games for the Eastern Washington Eagles, setting three career, 11 season and seven single-game school records . Gage completed 753 passes for 9,984 yards, including a FCS single-season record of 5,160 yards in 2016, and 87 touchdowns while averaging 312.2 passing yards per contest. A two-time nominee for the Walter Payton Award, given to the best offensive player in the Division 1 Football Subdivision, Gubrud also won Big Sky Player of the Week eight times and took home FCS Academic Honours in 2018. As a first-year starter in 2016, Gubrud shared Big Sky Conference MVP with teammate Cooper Kupp.
