Jacob joined the Lions as a territorial exemption ahead of 2025 training camp in Kamloops and was re-signed to the squad in July after recovering from an injury suffered in his pre-season debut.
Highlights:
2025: Jacob made his pre-season debut on May 18 in pre-season action against Calgary in Langford. After suffering an ankle injury, Bond returned to the team for practice ahead of a week six clash in Edmonton in early July. He went on to record eight special teams tackles in 13 regular season games and suited up in both Grey Cup Playoffs contests for the squad, recording one special team tackle in the Western Final at Saskatchewan.
Junior:
2024: Jacob suited up with the Okanagan Sun of the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC), leading the squad with 49 tackles on route to a perfect 10-0 regular season record in 2024. The Sun advanced to the Canadian Bowl National Final, falling to St.Clair 37-22. Bond recorded four tackles in the BCFC Semi-Final win over Valley, six tackles in the Cullen Cup victory over Westshore and a game-high nine tackles plus one forced fumble in the National Semi-Final victory over the Regina Thunder.
