Jake was signed as a free agent by the Lions in January 2021.

Highlights:

2019: Jake signed with the New York Giants as a non-drafted free agent. Recorded an interception return touchdown in pre-season contest against the New York Jets and was assigned to the practice squad where he remained until late October.

College:
2017-18: transferred to Long Island University. Led team in combined tackles in both of his seasons with the Pioneers, recording a total of 133 in 2017 and 2018. Intercepted four passes. Jake was also named NE10 Defensive Player of the Year in 2018.
2014-2016: Played three seasons at Stony Brook University, registering 23 combined tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, two pass knockdowns and a forced fumble in 19 games.
