Acquired:

Jared signed with the Lions as part of the NFL’s practice roster expansion in September 2024. He re-signed with the team on December 6, 2024.

Highlights:

2024: After joining the team in early September, Jared spent the last six weeks of the season on the Lions’ practice squad.

2022: Signed with the Atlanta Falcons as a non-drafted free agent in April and made the squad’s 53-man roster as a receiver out of training camp after hauling in a game-winning touchdown grab in pre-season action at Detroit. Jared was placed on Injured Reserve in late October and retired from the NFL in May 2023.

College:

2021: After initially transferring to Ferris State in 2020 to play quarterback before the football season was ultimately cancelled due to COVID-19, Jared made the move in his final season of eligibility and would record 1,322 passing yards and 11 touchdown strikes while adding 1,273 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns on the ground. He led the Bulldogs to a Division II national championship.

2017- 21: Jared suited up in lacrosse at the University of Maryland and left as the program’s all-time leader in points (290), goals (202), single-season goals (71) and had the record for most goals (18) and points in a single NCAA Tournament (74) as the Terrapins won the national title in 2017. He won the Tewaarten Award in his fifth season as the nation’s top lacrosse player.
