Jassin was selected in round six (52nd overall) by the Lions in the 2023 CFL Draft. Following his release from 2023 training camp, Jassin returned to the Lions as a free agent in November of that same year.

Highlights:

2018-22: Jassin suited up with the Saint Mary’s University Huskies where accolades included team MVP and an AUS All-Star nod in his senior season. He registered 50.5 defensive tackles over four seasons with the Huskies.

Personal:

The East Coast defensive back played his high school football at Citadel High School. Jassin was amongst one of five Saint Mary’s Huskies to be selected in the 2023 CFL Draft — two Huskies to get drafted by the Lions in 2023.
