Acquired:

Josh was signed as a free agent by the Lions on July 16, 2025. On December 16, he inked a two-year extension to keep him with the team through 2027.

Highlights:

2025: Josh signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and began the season on the injured list before being released on July 2. Following his addition to the Lions in July, he appeared in ten regular season games with five special teams tackles. He dressed in both Grey Cup Playoff contests and helped force the big punt return fumble that helped take down Calgary in the Western Semi-Final.

2024: Signed with the Edmonton Elks as a free agent and registered a career-high ten special teams tackles.

2021-23: Josh was selected in round six (47th overall) by Toronto in the 2021 CFL Draft and appeared in 31 games over three seasons with the team, winning a Grey Cup in 2022. He registered 22 defensive tackles, 16 special teams stops and a forced fumble over three seasons.

College:

2016-20: Josh suited up with the Saskatchewan Huskies, where he was teammates with current Lion teammates Nathan Cherry and Riley Pickett. He was a member of the 2018 squad that won the Hardy Cup.
