Mike signed with the Lions as a free agent on February 16, 2023.

Highlights:

2022: Mike moved on to the Montreal Alouettes as a free agent and suited up in all 18 regular season contests while recording 47 defensive tackles, one interception and a forced fumble. He went on to appear in the Eastern Semi-Final win over Hamilton and Eastern Final loss in Toronto, bringing his career playoff games total to five.

2021: It was a career year for Jones with 46 defensive tackles, a pair of interceptions and one forced fumble while suiting up in all 14 regular season games. Played in the Western Final against Saskatchewan and would go on to earn a second Grey Cup ring despite not playing the win over Hamilton on December 12.

2019: Moved north to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and suited up in seven regular season contests as well as the entire Bombers’ Grey Cup run in November. Helped seal the Grey Cup win over Hamilton with a fourth-quarter interception off of Dane Evans.

2018: Mike signed with the New York Giants as a non-drafted free agent and was waived by the team following training camp.

College:

2017: Mike transferred to Temple for his senior season and started all 13 games at cornerback while recording 44 combined tackles, one interception and seven pass breakups.

2013-16: Appeared in 38 games at North Carolina Central and racked up 114 combined tackles, 11 interceptions and 36 pass breakups. Earned first-team All-MEAC honours in both his freshman and junior seasons.
