Najee signed with the Lions as a free agent in March 2023.

Highlights:

2022-23: Signed with the Detroit Lions as a non-drafted free agent in May 2022 and attended training camp with the team. Najee began 2023 with a training camp stint with the XFL’s Vegas Vipers.

College:

2016-21: Najee attended North Carolina A&T where he played safety and sat out 2016 as a redshirt before suiting up in 39 games over four seasons with the Aggies not playing in 2020. He recorded 106 combined tackles, one interception, nine pass breakups and four forced fumbles. Helped the Aggies capture the 2019 Celebration Bowl while recording three tackles and three pass breakups in the 46-44 win over Alcorn State. Najee also starred on the track squad, qualifying for the NCAA Division 1 Championships in the 4X400 relay.
