Peyton was signed as a free agent by the Lions on December 18, 2025.

Highlights:

2021: Joined the Las Vegas Raiders as a free agent, where he suited up in ten regular season games and ran for 212 yards and two touchdowns on 55 carries.

2020: Peyton signed with Washington as a free agent and appeared in all 16 regular season games with 94 carries for 258 yards and four touchdowns.

2016-19: After going unselected in the 2016 NFL Draft, Peyton signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in May 2016. He was active for all but one game as a rookie and scored his first career touchdown in an October 23 win at San Francisco. In 63 games with the Bucs over four seasons, Peyton rushed for 1,987 yards and 15 touchdowns on 551 total carries and added 57 receptions for 349 yards and two majors. His best NFL season came in 2018 with 234 carries for 871 yards and five touchdowns.

College:

2013-15: Peyton attended Auburn University and sat out his first year as a redshirt before rushing for 1,071 yards on 248 carries in 19 total contests. As a senior, Peyton averaged 78.1 rushing yards per game and scored 14 touchdowns (13 rushing, one receiving), while recording 11 receptions for 142 yards.
