Acquired:
The BC Lions selected Rashari in the sixth round (47th overall) of the 2018 CFL Draft.

 

College:
2014-2017: Rashari appeared in 30 games across four seasons with Wilfrid Laurier University. A disruptive force on the Golden Eagles’ defensive line, Rashari recorded 32 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for a loss and 7.5 sacks during his career. Rashari also recovered three fumbles, broke up one pass and scored a pair of defensive touchdowns. He played for the West Team in the 2017 U SPORTS East-West Bowl.

 

Personal:
Rashari hit the books equally as hard as he hit quarterbacks at Wilfrid Laurier University, exiting with an Economics degree. Winning the 2016 Yates Cup is his most memorable moment on the football field. Rashari admires the quickness and power of New Orleans Saints’ defensive lineman, Cameron Jordan. He currently runs a sports media company and he would like to continue to develop the company once his playing career is behind him.
