Silas was signed as a free agent by the Lions on April 15, 2026.
Highlights:
2026: Before inking with the Lions, Silas was selected by the Dallas Renegades in the UFL Draft. He was released on March 19.
2025: Silas signed with the Minnesota Vikings as a non-drafted free agent before being released as part of the final roster cuts in training camp. He then had a practice roster stint with the Houston Texans.
College:
2024: Silas transferred to the Texas Longhorns for his senior year, suiting up in all 15 games at wide receiver and as the team’s main punt returner. Along with hauling in 23 receptions for 267 yards and one touchdown, the playmaker returned 30 punts for 315 yards and took one back for a touchdown in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal as Texas took down Arizona State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. It was the tenth-longest return in Texas program history.
2021-23: Suited up in 36 games with the Oregon State Beavers, making a mark on both offence and special teams. Silas recorded 80 receptions for 1,076 yards and nine touchdowns, while adding 21 carries for 202 yards and four majors. He also added 40 kickoff returns for 1,008 yards and three punt returns for 97 yards and a touchdown. He earned second team All-Pac 12 honours in both 2022 and 2023.
Personal:
Silas is the younger brother of Victor Bolden Jr., who signed with the BC Lions ahead of 2025 training camp following a long NFL stint that included 13 games with the San Francisco 49ers across 2017 and 2018.
