Stantley was signed as a free agent by the Lions on May 17, 2026.

Highlights:

2024: After originally signing with the UFL Birmingham Stallions, Stantley joined the Detroit Lions practice squad and was activated for their final regular season game on January 4.

2023: Signed with the New York Giants practice squad following his release from Carolina.

2020-22: Stantley was selected in round seven (221^st overall) by Carolina in the 2020 NFL Draft. He dressed in 25 games with the Panthers, recording 17 combined tackles.

College:

2016-19: Played four seasons at Florida International, the first two at wide receiver. He recorded 36 receptions for 489 yards and one touchdown. After switching to defence, he racked up 94 total tackles (77 solo, 17 assisted), seven tackles for a loss, 20 pass breakups, two interceptions, two sacks and a pair of forced fumbles. He was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team in 2016.
