Acquired: Terence was signed by the Lions as a free agent in January of 2018.

 

Highlights:
2017
: After going unselected in the 2017 NFL Draft, Terence signed as an undrafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals. Waugh recorded one tackle in the preseason with the Cardinals.

 

College:
2013-2016
: Terence wreaked havoc on quarterbacks during his four years with Kent State, recording 175 total tackles, 31.5 tackles for a loss, 20 sacks and a pair of forced fumbles. A dominant force on the Flashes’ defensive line as a junior and a senior, Terence led the team in sacks and was First-Team All-MAC selection in both seasons. He earned MAC Defensive Player of the Week honours in 2015 after getting to the quarterback three times and registering 11 tackles in a game against the Marshall Thundering Herd.

 

Personal:
Always interested in how to get the best performance out of the human body, Terence majored in kinesiology at Kent State. His most memorable moment on the football field was a strip sack against Penn State in 2016 that was returned for a touchdown to tie the game just before halftime. Terence is really into anime and lists Naruto Shippuden as his favourite show. A fan of hip-hop, you’ll often hear Drake emanating from his headphones as he walks through the locker room. Terence says his dad is his biggest fan and enjoys playing video games in his free time.
